Ever since 1882 Danskin has been renowned as a trend setter, setting the standards for quality and innovation with its ranges of dance and gymnastic sportswear suitable for dynamic women of all ages, shapes and sizes; styles of clothing which in many cases have also been able to double up as normal everyday attire. Danskin started life as a small store in New York selling imported hosiery from Europe and was run by two brothers.
