My first question and a short presentation

Hello there.
Just joined the forum and would like to start out with a little bit about me followed by a question, so if this is the wrong section i do appolagize.

My name is Julian Rasmussen and i’m 20 years old. I come from Denmark but i currently live in Germany since i study to goldsmith.
I have always wanted to "improve" myself by learning new things and becoming the best i can be. Education, personality and all’round skills.

I have always been interested in dance, I started out with some break-dance back in the days, then followed up with some c-walk.. But i have always admired people who can go to the dancefloor and everyone else can just see that they KNOW and LOVE what they’re doing.. That they just own the dancefloor.. I have never really found the dance the suits me (which includes a partner), but then i watched the movie "Miami Vice" and there is this dance scene.. I just fell for the dance and i do not know what kind of dance it is.. Been googling a bit and seems like some people is saying that it’s Salsa, but the salsa videos on youtube just looks sooooo much faster and i dont really get the same feeling of romance as i do when i watch the scene from Miami Vice?
Does anyone know what style this dance is?
I am that kind of guy who is planning EVERYTHING and want to know what to do and how to do things the next 5 years. I just started out with bodybuilding to improve my "frame" and when i get that under controle i will like to learn how to play guitar aswell.. I might not start with dance lessons before i come back to Denmark (can be in 2 or 5 years?) but i love being prepared with as much information as i possible can.

I hope that my post makes sense and you will welcome me with a warm "hello!" and help me out with my question.. :)

Thanks a lot in advance.
Kind Regards
Julian.

P.S I do have a link for the scene (It is wayy better in the movie tho) but i can’t link pictures and links for the next 90 days, don’t know if there is a way arround this rule..? :)
